What My Clients Want In Ten Words;

Someone to hold up the mirror, to believe in them, to help connect the dots.

After a career of 28 years in HR L&TD leadership roles at high performing global professional services firms, I have become a versatile coach, consultant and facilitator.  I have been coaching & mentoring since 2000 and became qualified with the ILM in 2010.  During that time, I have coached individuals and teams at all levels, from early career to Board level executives covering a wide range of subjects. Because of my previous L&TD consulting and HR leadership experience, I am often good at helping to link coaching to a commercial context.

As a child, my family would often call me ‘sunshine’, so I decided to adopt this as my personal brand seeing my work as a way to shine light where it is needed and help people to grow.

I now specialise in culture and behaviour change. I work by helping organisations, leaders and teams clarify their vision, connect to a purpose, plan the change journey, face their fears, and have powerful conversations.  This then leads them to adopt new mindsets, skills and behaviours. I see my role as connecting the dots, helping people write their own story, to navigate their development journey with ownership, commitment and self-awareness.

I follow a personal mantra to ‘never repeat a year’ which means I am passionate about personal development and CPD.  Each year I set out to stretch myself in the name of learning.  In 2017, I set out to get better at having difficult conversations. In 2018, I completed a 1-year programme founded on shamanism to deepen my understanding of our human need for belonging.  In 2019, I completed a 1 year female ‘Lead the Change’ programme with One of Many where I learned how positive and negative female archetypes can bring about huge shifts in behaviour.

I worked with Sanchia over a number of years on areas ranging from team culture to my own personal and professional development. She has a dynamic personality and is a passionate advocate for learning and development. Of significant note for me was the work we did on improving communications at an exec level where I found her coaching advice and counsel invaluable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sanchia for any initiative where cultural changes are needed or where management programmes can move your teams forward.

Sanchia and I have had several executive coaching sessions recently, which have been productive and insightful. Her style of coaching has been resulting and outcome-oriented, but light touch and fun. She probes with questioning that makes you think carefully about your objective and is an active listener to the answers given. She summarises well the objective and the suggested path to it.

I worked with Sanchia during her time at Legal & General Investment Management, particularly on leadership and talent development opportunities to support and drive our culture, diversity and inclusion ambitions. Sanchia played a lead role in engaging leadership on the design, development and implementation of programmes which included critical coaching conversations to help business leaders and executive sponsors have the confidence to drive positive change and navigate everyday challenges.  Sanchia brought her coaching style to people leader conversations, helping our leaders explore, feel confident and equipped to lead in a supported environment.
