Nana is a Chartered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience as an internal and external consultant specialising in leadership coaching, the design and facilitation of leadership development programmes, team coaching and senior team effectiveness.   She has a particular interest in Women in Leadership, Minorities in Leadership and Evolutionary Leadership.  She has lived and delivered successful global projects in an eclectic cross-section of cultures across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the USA.

Nana works with people from the inside out - with the whole person - cultivating better self-awareness and authenticity.  She creates safe spaces in which people, individually or collectively, can be fully witnessed and feel seen and heard. As a coach and facilitator, she sees her role as a thinking partner who encourages clients to reflect deeply and take action. Conversations with her are supportive yet challenging and direct in nature.

Valuing a holistic, strengths-based yet multi-pronged approach, Nana supports leaders in examining their habitual patterns, mindsets and values; to explore how these were formed and how they serve them, and to experiment with new ways of being and behaving. With increased self-awareness and system awareness, leaders can align their own life purpose, meaning and values with those of the organisations that they lead. In a complex, uncertain and changing world, making wise and values-based choices has never been more crucial for leaders. And Nana has seen first-hand the power of reflective inquiry in disrupting thinking and the possibilities for clients when they are given the space to truly examine, explore and experiment.

Nana is passionate about helping leaders, at any stage of their careers, realise their potential. She gets a real buzz from witnessing leaders make shifts to effectively lead themselves, their teams and their organisations in more purposeful and sustainable ways.  Clients consistently tell her that she brings a powerful combination of perceptiveness, insightful challenge, results-focus, supportiveness, energy and fun to her work.

Nana has been my executive coach for the last 18 months following promotion to a Director position at one of the world’s largest and most successful financial services companies. During this time I’ve led an unprecedented amount of change within my business areas and managed to significantly increase employee engagement at the same time. Nana’s ability to question and challenge me in a constructive manner has been an absolutely critical part of our success over this period. Her wise counsel and vast insight into leadership behaviour and organisational psychology spans many industries and draws upon a range of resources, allowing her to immediately tune into the most complex of situations.

During the time I have worked with Nana I have become much more confident in my ability to lead through challenging and ambiguous times. I’m also much clearer on my own values and the direction in which I wish to take my career.

Nana designed and delivered a robust and engaging leadership programme focussing on the improvement of both individual and team effectiveness for our Senior Leadership Team. She is a very intuitive individual who can be both supportive as well as direct with participants and is not afraid to ask the difficult questions to really drive individuals to understand their own motivations, capabilities and effectiveness. Giving them the responsibility to take control of their interactions within the business to achieve organisational goals, Nana has been instrumental in the development of a strong team with a rounded capability. I would certainly recommend her for similar programmes in other organisations

Nana is a highly insightful professional, with a clear understanding of drivers, motivators and barriers to individual and team effectiveness and development. Using a combination of well recognised assessment and profile tools, coupled with her own highly tuned observational and interpretation skills she is able to offer a full range of coaching and support to individuals to develop their effectiveness, both from a career and personal perspective. She is incredibly personable and great fun to work with. I would recommend Nana for Leadership Development Programmes, particularly of Senior Level Teams.
